Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Patent Searching, Review and Analysis:

• Conduct patentability, novelty and FTO (Freedom to Operate) searches related to agricultural formulations and technical actives.
• Strong fundamental knowledge of FTO protocols.

2. Patent Filing and Prosecution:

• Coordinate and manage patent drafting and filing activities across India and foreign territories.
• Handle end-to-end drafting and filing of Provisional and Complete specifications.

3. Patent Databases & Cross-Functional Activities:

• Strong expertise in handling complex patent databases like Orbit and SciFinder.
• Excellent analytical and scientific technical writing skills.

4. IP Reporting, Litigation and Strategy:

• Prepare IP summary reports and strategic IP documents.
• Provide background support for patent oppositions and litigations.
• Address day-to-day IP related queries for vendors, suppliers, and internal/external customers.

Desired Candidate Profile
Candidates must possess a strong background in chemistry with a deep interest or specialization in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). Excellent documentation skills and proficiency with professional IP tools are required.
